WordPress KC is the place to learn more about WordPress in Kansas City. With regular WordPress-centric design, development, and digital marketing Meetups and a yearly WordCamp KC conference, there is something that's right for you!
WordPress is a free open source software that is used to create custom websites and blogs powering nearly 30% of all websites on the internet today! WordPress started in 2003 as "just a blogging system," but the WordPress platform has evolved to be used as full content management system (CMS) - and so much more through the thousands of plugins and widgets and themes -- WordPress is limited only by your imagination!
WordCamps are free or low-cost local public educational conferences that happen all around the world to gather and educate WordPress users, organized by WordPress users. These low-key local gatherings allow people from all walks of life to attend, meet, share and learn. WordPress KC organizers also organize and host the annual WordCamp Kansas City conference.
Whether you've been with WordPress since the beginning or you're brand new, we want you to come grow with us! Our goal is to educate and integrate the design, development, and content creation fields to better use of WordPress.
