We are the place to learn more about WordPress in Kansas City. With weekly work sessions, monthly Meetups and a yearly WordCamp Conference, there is something that’s right for you!

WordPress is a free open source software that is used to create custom websites and blogs powering 75 million web sites world wide. It started in 2003 as just a blogging system, but has evolved to be used as full content management system (CMS) and so much more through the thousands of plugins and widgets and themes — WordPress is limited only by your imagination!

WordCamps are free or low-cost local public educational conferences that happen all around the world to gather and educate WordPress users, organized by WordPress users. These low-key local gatherings allow people from all walks of life to attend, meet, share and learn.

Whether you’ve been with WordPress since the beginning or you’re brand new, we want you to come grow with us! Our goal is to educate and integrate the design, development, and content creation fields to better use of WordPress.

How can you get involved?

  • Present at a MeetUp.
  • Volunteer at WordCamp.
  • Ask questions.
  • Tell your friends and colleagues.

Join our community by coming to one of our events and learn from one another, network, and celebrate the global phenomenon that is WordPress.

Looking forward to seeing YOU!

Sincerely,
The WPKC Organizing Team
